We have one additional ambition, however, namely to introduce the visitor not only to the place but also to its inhabitants. It is our honest belief that the preservation and beauty of the landscape, the charm of the natural environment and the quality of life, would not have been possible without our community. That is the people who live and work and who play their part, however small, in the conservation of the enchanted beauty of Radicondoli.

We therefore dedicate this work to them, more than anyone else, but to you also so that you may be able to have a taste of our way of life, and if you should so wish, come and share it with us.

This site has been constructed in Italian, however for the most part, our means of communication is based on images more than the written word. We have nevertheless translated into English those parts of the text that in our view may be of greatest interest to the visitor :

- Radicondoli: a short history and images of the town.
- Scattered Houses: a gallery of images and descriptions of farmhouses and castles.
- Reception Outlets: a list of the commercial operators in the area (agriturismi,restaurants and other).
- Traditional and Cultural Events: a description of the main events that take place yearly within the district of Radicondoli.
- Saint John's Celebration and Fair: the most important event organised each year by the Pro Loco Association (that is our association) taking place.
